What is the payment and cancellation policy of the resort?

Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. How far ahead the payment is required and how far ahead you can cancel the reservation free of charge will depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.

How do I pay for my reservation?

Once your reservation is complete, the reservations team will send you a secure online payment link though which you can settle the payment via your credit card. Alternatively, we do accept bank transfers as well.

What are the payment methods while on the island?

Credit card/Debit Card payment as well as Cash payments are accepted on the island. As for credit cards VISA, American Express, MasterCard, Union Pay, Discover, JCB and Diners club are accepted. For Cash payments, US Dollar, Sterling Pounds, Euros, Australian Dollars, Swiss Francs, Singaporean Dollars as well as Maldivian Rufiyas are accepted. (For USD payments, notes that are of 2006 series or older are not accepted in the Maldives)

In the serene embrace of our villas and suites, a Studio is ideal for two adults and a child. A One Bedroom offers sanctuary for a family of four or three adults. The Two Bedroom accommodates up to four adults and two children, or six adults, while the Three Bedroom provides a generous haven for six adults and two children, or can be a luxurious retreat for up to nine adults.

What tax rates are applicable to resort purchases?

At our resort, purchases are subject to a 10% service charge and a 16% Tourism Goods and Services Tax (TGST).

Are digital payment tokens or digital wallet services like Apple Pay, Alipay, or WeChat Pay accepted at the resort?

In a move toward digital innovation, we accept digital payment tokens Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), and Worldwide USD (WUSD), providing you with a modern and secure payment option. Does the resort have an airport counter?

Counter number D9 is the airport counter of Patina Maldives, Fari Islands. However, our Airport Executive will be on standby at the Arrivals Hall Gate holding an iPad with the logo of “Patina Maldives, Fari Islands” displayed on the Screen, who will guide guests through the Airport and to the Speedboat.

What is the standard mode of Airport transfer to Patina Maldives, Fari Islands?

Patina Maldives, Fari Islands organizes Luxury Speed Boat Transfers for Arrival & Departure from and to Velana International Airport for all guests.

The Scenic Luxury Speedboat journey will be approximately 45-minutes to access the resort from the Airport. During the journey, Cold Towel, Refreshments and Mineral Water will be available.

What types of Boats are used for the airport transfers?

Our Luxury Speedboats are fully closed and airconditioned speedboats that come with comfortable cabin-style seating arrangement. We can accommodate a maximum of 13 person on the Luxury Speedboat.

Is there a luggage limit for the Luxury Speed Boat Transfers?

A Baggage allowance of 20kg checked luggage and 5kg carry-on luggage per person will be provided for the shared transfer journey. However it is not strictly enforced on our guests.

Should the luggage exceeds the mentioned limit, no additional charges are levied on extra luggage, unless and additional private speedboat is required just for luggage.

Is there a waiting time for the transfers to the resort?

Shared luxury boat transfers are scheduled in line with international flight arrival times to Velana International Airport. Please expect a waiting time of 30 to 60 minutes, as this is shared with other guests. Alternatively, private transfers are available upon request for an additional fee.

Is it possible to arrange Seaplane Transfer?

It is Indeed possible to arrange either Shared Seaplane transfer or Private Seaplane transfer to Patina Maldives, Fari Islands. The trip will take roughly 10 – 15 minutes.

How can I make use of the CIP Terminal upon my arrival?

For a seamless and exclusive arrival experience, our CIP service must be arranged before your arrival. We facilitate speedboat or yacht transfers at all times, day or night. Should your flight be in the late evening, indulge in Patina Maldives' full range of amenities up until your departure, and trust that we will coordinate your transfer to ensure you arrive at the airport with ample time, approximately 2.5 hours before your flight, for a serene farewell. Please note that transfers outside standard operating hours may incur additional charges. We recommend consulting with our concierge for detailed information on these charges to ensure clarity and peace of mind during your travel arrangements.

If I've booked multiple stays, will I be charged for transfers more than once?

For guests booking multiple stays, transfer charges are applied only once per person for each visit. In the event that any additional charges mistakenly appear on your account related to transfers, please bring them to our attention. Our team is committed to reviewing such instances carefully and will make adjustments as appropriate.

How early can I secure a reservation at the resort?

What is the process to arrange the fast track CIP service?

We follow a resort-casual dress code for all of our restaurants. Swimwear is discouraged at our restaurants.

Accommodation

Is it possible to accommodate 2 Children in a One Bedroom Villa?

We can accommodate 2 children or 01 child and 01 infant in additional to 02 Adults in a One Bedroom Villa. We can provide 1 x roll-away bed and 1 x Sofa bed or 1 x roll-away bed and 1 x Baby cot in the villa.

How much do you charge for an extra child?

Should the villa occupancy allows to accommodate the children in the villa, children who are 11 years old and below will be able to stay on complimentary basis and are only charged a green tax of USD 6 per child per night.

Can the Sofa in the Villa be converted to a Bed?

We can convert the Sofa in the villa to a Sofa bed. The Sofa beds are 34 inches (86 cm) in length and 85 inches (215 cm) in width and can accommodate children who are 11 years old and below.

Is it possible to arrange 2x Villas next to each other?

If the booking is made in advance we can certainly arrange two or more villas next to each to other.

Can you confirm a certain room number or location?

A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability.

How far are the beach pool villas from the Lagoon?

The beach pool villas are located a few steps away from the lagoon.

Which Villas are the most private?

While all of our villas offer a high degree of privacy, our Water Pool Villa options offer the highest degree of privacy as these villas are located further out in the lagoon. Privacy fences can be placed on the balconies of the Water Pool Villas upon request to further enhance the privacy.

Can the twin beds in the Two Bedroom Villas be combined?

Yes, the twin beds in the twin bedroom of the Two Bedroom Villas can be combined.

How many bathrooms are there in a Two Bedroom Villa?

There are Two Bathrooms (one for each bedroom) in a Two bedroom Villa.

Do we have a dedicated butler if we book Beach House?

Yes, you will we have a dedicated Essentialist (butler) if you have booked the Beach house.

How can I arrange an early check-in if my flight arrives early?

Our villas are prepared for your arrival from 2pm; however, should your travels bring you to us earlier and you wish to secure early access to your accommodation, we invite you to arrange this in advance with our Reservations team. While early check-in is subject to availability, we diligently endeavor to accommodate your request to begin your sanctuary experience as soon as possible.

What options do I have for a late check-out if my flight departs in the evening?

The tranquility of your villa is yours until 12pm on your day of departure. If you desire to extend your serenity beyond this time, a late check-out can be arranged either through a prior booking with our Reservations team or by inquiring with your Essentialist during your stay, subject to availability.

Is it possible to split my stay between different types of accommodations?

We delight in offering our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in varying ambiances by experiencing different villas. Please share your preferences with our Reservations team, who will craft a personalized stay with quotations for your chosen categories of indulgence.

Do the accommodations include a kitchen or microwave?

For guests residing in our spacious Two-Bedroom sanctuaries and the exquisite Beach House, a thoughtfully appointed pantry kitchen is provided. It features a SMEG microwave, refrigerator and freezer, kettle, and coffee machine, blending convenience with luxury.

Can I add a rollaway bed to my villa?

What type of electrical outlets are in the villas?

Do we have to book the spa in advance?

It is recommended to book FLOW SPA treatments a week in advance in order to guarantee the preferred timing.

Do you have a Gym on the Islands?

We have a very well equipped gym located at our FLOW spa.

Do you have a medical facility on the island?

We do have a clinic on the island along with an inhouse doctor and a nurse.

Is sunscreen available for purchase at the resort?

Yes, we have a selection of sun protection products available for purchase. You can find sunscreen at both our tranquil Spa and the Resort Boutique.

Kids Club

Do you have a kid’s club?

We have a very well equipped Children’s creative and educational facility called Footprints.

What age is allowed in the kid’s club?

Children between ages of 04 – 11 years old will have complimentary access to the Footprints kids club. Children who are 3-years old and below will also have access to the Footprints kids club with the presence of a parent or a guardian. Alternatively, babysitting service can be booked for children who are 3-years old and below.

Is it possible to book babysitting service?

Babysitting service can be booked with the below prices and terms and conditions;

Prices;

Normal hours (8am – Midnight): $64 per hour

Extended hours (Midnight – 2:00am): $96 per hour

Pricing is subject to 10% service charge and 16% government tax.

  • Guests are required to book baby-sitting services 24-hours in advance and they may do so via their butler (Essentialist) or the Patina Lifestyle app.

  • All bookings are for a minimum of 1 hour and follow with 1-hour increments. For example, if the babysitting lasts for 1.30hrs the guest will be charged for 2 hrs.

  • If baby-sitting services are required for more than 3 hours, the babysitter can avail one meal from in-villa dining which will be charged to the guest.

  • For children below the age of 2, we allow one babysitter per child and for children above the age of 2 years, 2 children per babysitter at a time.

  • Each babysitter is assigned to a single villa.

  • Rates and taxes are subject to change without prior notice.

  • The babysitter is chosen on best availability. We are not able to guarantee any specific requests such as gender, language or a specific Teammate. Teammates from Recreation & Footprints are available for babysitting duties outside of operational hours.

We do have both non-motorized as well as motorized Water Sports activities available at Patina Maldives Fari Islands.

Are there good diving spots near Patina Maldives, Fari Islands?

Patina Maldives, Fari Islands is located in North Male’ Atoll in the midst of well-known world-class dive sites.

Is there a House Reef at Patina Maldives, Fari Islands?

We do have a lively house reef with numerous species of marine life and colorful corals on the north-west side of the island reachable within 10-15 minutes paddling distance.

Do you do Excursion boat trips?

We do have different types fishing, snorkeling excursions as well as cruises and experiences available at Patina Maldives Fari Islands.

Do we have to pre-book Watersports, Scuba Diving and Excursions?

We recommend to book Excursions a week prior to the arrival date in order to ensure availability. For Scuba diving, your in-person presence is required during the booking process, hence, this can be done upon arrival. As for the watersports no pre-booking is required.

What should I know about activity restrictions for those with medical conditions?

We recommend guests with medical conditions consult with their physician to understand any limitations before embarking on their journey to Patina. For your assurance, we have a qualified doctor on-site to assist with medical evaluations, particularly for diving clearances, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

What activities are suitable for expectant mothers at the resort?

Our resort is a sanctuary for all stages of life, including pregnancy. Expectant mothers in their first trimester may enjoy all activities except diving, certain water sports, and some spa massages. From the second trimester, our spa offers bespoke treatments tailored for maternal well-being.

Can we participate in cooking classes at the resort?

Yes, we offer an eclectic array of culinary classes, from mastering local dishes to perfecting pastries and sushi. Little chefs are also welcome to join in the fun with special sessions in our kids' club, Footprints.
