Patina Maldives are thrilled to have Ana Pušica for its Art Residency in the Fari Art Atelier program.

Ana Pušica Kramer, an internationally acclaimed contemporary artist, paints large-format masterpieces at the crossroads of abstraction and figuration. Exhibiting globally from New York to Beijing, her art is a physical, intuitive act rooted in movement. Her paintings, described as a "beautiful fluorescent thunderstorm," explore light and color, capturing the energy of life. Ana employs diverse techniques and surfaces, creating captivating layers through repeated motifs and dynamic gestures. Her work, oscillating between non-abstract and loosely figurative, invites associations such as red-hot magma or vibrant pinks and oranges, embodying an 'intense lightness' with multiple layers of potential meaning. Discover Ana's mesmerizing exploration of poetry, memory, and the vibrant interplay of color in her captivating artworks.

Ana’s month long residency will give guest the opportunity to see her in action as well as get the opportunity to create art alongside her.

What is the Fari Art Atelier?

The Fari Art Atelier is an exclusive residency program. The residency aims to bring in leading creatives from around the world to Patina Maldives for a residency, to experience and be inspired by the unique environment of Patina Maldives.

Can I purchase the artworks created at the residency?

Artworks will be made available at an exhibition at Patina Maldives. Artworks will be available exclusively to guests for period of the residency, before being released to the wider public.

Can all guests take part in the workshops?

Seats for the workshop will require a booking. Bookings can be made at time of reservation or on arrival with your Essentialist. There will be a surcharge for workshops, with the exception of guests who book the Ana Pušica Residency Package below.
